About me
I am an Instructional Designer and librarian from Land O' Lakes, FL where I live with my husband and our 3 corgis.
my education
I hold a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University and a Master of Education in Instructional Design from Western Governor's University.
Prior to graduate school I received a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of South Florida.
my professional background
I work as a Medical Librarian for a Tampa hospital where I am able to utilize my background in searching for quality evidence and educating both consumers and healthcare workers. In this role I develop classroom and online training to support proper research skills and utilizing library resources.
In September 2020 I began an internship with MENTOR, The National Mentoring Partnership where I worked to convert in person training to an online format. From this internship I have continued to build my relationship with MENTOR as a freelance instructional designer creating multiple e-learning courses for their extensive network of consultants and clients.
